She also embodies everything Venusian (super feminine, beautiful, compromising, pleasant, etc). She loves fantasy video games, anime, cosplay, and all forms of art (Neptune themes). She is a gifted anime artist (with an unconventional and quirky style) who aspires to illustrate children’s books someday (the ruler of her MC, the sun, is also in the 5th house).

The person I used as an example is my close friend, Ashley. Since Venus is square Neptune, the individual might be particularly interested in fantasies, forms of escapism, anything imaginative, and possibly a little disconnected from reality. Since Venus is in the 5 th whole sign house, the chart native will likely be involved in 5 th house topics such as children, creativity, art, romance, sexuality, entertainment, and/or recreation. This makes the expression quirky, innovative, and a little unconventional. So in this case, Venus harmonizes or creates in an Aquarian way. The sign is the way the planet will do its job. The archetype of Venus is the lover, connecter, creator, harmonizer, and receiver. Information about the identity, role, and vitality of the person. Compared to the ascendant alone, it has more of a Role the individual plays in this lifetime, their disposition, their health,Īnd their appearance. The ruling planet of the first house shows the In this example, for someone with a ScorpioĪscendant, look at Mars’s placement. Their life might revolve around their interests in psychology, taboo areas of life (death, sex, power, etc), esoteric studies, secrets, and/or strategy.Īfter taking the ascendant sign into account, look at the The ascendant is an important indicator of how the individual approaches their life, their general disposition, and the vibe they give off.įor example, if the ascendant is in Scorpio, the individual likely will be intense, deep, private, emotional, dark, and penetrating. Where Do I Start?įirst, look at the sign of the ascendant. It’s also a good starting point before diving into the rest of the chart and its complexities. While I do not think there is one particular way to read a chart, I have found the ruler of the ascendant to be the most telling of the chart native’s identity, vitality, and general role in life. For Shaper/Uber Elder, it's probably better. When it comes to approaching any chart, my first instinct is to study the planet ruling the ascendant. Everything else is either Ele Pen, Life Regen, or crit (and, remember, RT) so it just depends on how much you like Ele Pen, and even then it has to stack up against 20% more when the boss drops adds.įor general mapping Slayer is definitely the clear choice. Trickster is just QoL mapping stuff so it's not really better than Duelist-Slayer. Jugg doesn't really give you any damage, so if you want the tankiness I guess that's okay but Slayer is already a pretty HC viable Ascendancy anyway, Cyclone gives stun immunity, and it's kind of a waste of half your Ascendancy to be too lazy to socket Enduring Cry. Berserker has a bunch of damage but it sucks up your overleech.
#ASCENDANT VS UBERLAYER FREE#
Overkill leech is a TON more leech than just Overleech, to the point where if you don't have crazy damage on Scion you can go through it with Blood Rage + Blood Magic leap slam (I did it this league).Īsc-Raider kinda gets you there with frenzy charges but that sucks up your free points from Scion if you actually want it to be better, and assuming it's not a long phased boss fight or somethin like that Slayer can just run Blood Rage and he'll probably still have Onslaught up from the last rare kill anyway. 20% more after killing is situational but good, and even disregarding that, 20% cull is basically a 25% more multiplier while 10% cull is ~11.1%. For RT cyclone builds, Duelist-Slayer is a bit better, but that has less to do with Slayer than the fact that no other Scion stuff is really that good for RT builds.
